Beyond both conquest and collapse there is another shore, in a land filled with sovereign gardens. We moderns, toiling in a mine, who are the unwitting sons and daughters of Rome, downstream of millennia of Empire, know not of its existence. Yet there are those who, since always, have had their feet planted firmly in the soil of this beyond. How shall we track the coordinates of possibility that may lead us out of the labyrinth of death worship that we call a civilization and home to the garden of relatedness wherein we commune with the Original Fire?

What are the pedagogies that will take us out of the mine, and back to the garden, out of the mind, and back to the heart?

Once back to the heart, how do we learn to relate sovereignly, through power with, not power over?

Our focus for the past decade has been localized at the level of the individual. We are now moving our attention to the formations of the collective, grounded in our extensive research (15,000 people in 50 countries) that affirms what has been known ancestrally: relatedness is the wellspring of wellbeing. This we have demonstrated, repeatably, and with neurophysiological exactitude, which has allowed us to successfully develop interventions that treat, at the root, a variety of stress-related diseases (anxiety, depression, classes of auto-immune disease, classes of trauma, classes of complex chronic illness, etc).

This being duly noted, what this same work and research keeps teaching us, is that individual illness is, to a startling degree, a downstream function of the lack of wellbeing in the systems in which people are embedded, and by which they are ensphered.

These systems are familial, communal (or the lack thereof), digital (in this day and age of the internet and (anti-)social media), societal, and civilizational. Our work has dug, and continues to dig into root causes at all of these layers. Working with 100 faculty members in 25 disciplines of wellbeing and 24 cultures we have been on an archeology of the source maladies driving the death engine of the modern.

With this awareness in hand, heart, and mind, we embark on the novel frontier of coordinating collectives able to decolonize the mentalities of modern humans and re-organize strategies of relating to interiority, relationality, place, governance, and economy in manners that are sustainable and suitably resilient to withstand what is coming.

We call these strategies, collectively, ‘pedagogies of the beyond’.

Beyond conquest, and beyond collapse.

Yet assuredly, the route to the beyond is, in part, a descent.

Our purpose: return home to the belonging that has been thieved from us by devouring Supremacy mind.
